I think it's past time to post another pupper picture.

Did we ever see this arty portrait by cousin julia? It's one of my faves.

My once neurotic dog has turned far too mellow. When she's not biting her butt, she sleeps too much.

    she is ADORABLE - love the pic!!!!!!!!

    my smaller dog bites her butt. give her Benadryl, keep her trimmed as best I can, and give her the flea & tick meds, etc, and looks like she needs steroids or something. damn it.

    I'm telling you Dynovite! look it up on the internet. It's minerals that dogs lack in their diet and it has fixed my dog's bad skin so she doesn't lick her paws, her genitals or anythng else until its raw like she used to. No more belly or genital rashes. Have been using this product for about 3 years now and its saved a lot on vet bills. comes in powder form you sprinkle over their food, add a little water to make it stick. It's quite expensive, but I've cut down the amount I give her to make it last longer and it still seems to be effective.

    BTW, Kate I've said it before our dogs are very similar looking with that Dobe blood in them. I think that's what makes my girl so neurotic and high strung too. She's ridiculously emotional and sensitive for a damn dog. She went into mourning when my daughters left home and we became an empty nest family, and she gets freaked out by thunder and fireworks which our smaller dog simply ignores. Plus she's so needy and jealous of the other pets that it's really annoying.

    HA! How adorable. I could just hug that wittle dog. Sometimes I think my fur kids sleep too much too, but when I point it out they say it's the pot calling the kettle black.

    I am glad my neurotic cat has stopped stress-grooming himself. At one point, he'd licked his own hind legs bald.

what I'm talking about above--the letter in RWR

I've cut out bits here and there but the gist is there. I don't want to cut too much because she's a good writer (other than the actual thinking/tolerance part) and it's bad idea to ignore that fact. . . . romance isn't about just any "two people" celebrating "love in its many forms." Organizations such as the Man-Boy Love Association would certainly refer to themselves as celebrating love "two people" (or more) finding love in one of its many forms" . . . while they actively promote pedophilia. Think RWA can't go down that slipper slope? Think again. Under our present definition, we cannot exclude such "love stories" under the category of "romance". We, as a culture, seem to have forgotten how to say "enough is enough," but RWA can--indeed, must--do better than that. . . .
